We have established this company named “Nathaswara Thavil Music Of International Inc” in Canada since 1997. This Organization is mainly developed for the South Indian Musical instrument called Nathaswaram, Thavil, Thalam and Thampura Sruti. Since we do not find such artists to play this music in Canada, we thought of bringing the artists from India. So our Organization can provide the musicians to Hindu Temples, Weddings and other Cultural functions in Canada.

We would like to give you a short explanation about the instrument that we use here. The instrument that we use here is known as “Nathaswaram” which looks like a long pipe like structure and the other instrument known as “Thavil” which looks like a kind of drum. It takes minimum of 7 Years to learn and at least 5-10 Years of experience to Perform as an Individual artist.

Our main aim in the future is to introduce and teach the Canadians about these musical instruments. So they will have the opportunity to learn new skills in the music field. Our prime aim is to give the part of the financial benefits achieved by this institution will be reserved for the purpose of establishing an educational institute for Nathaswaram and Thavil music in Canada.

Also by doing this, we can introduce many popular or growing famous artists to the Canadian Audiences. So they can enjoy the musical extravaganza. Even though we live in a different part of the world it is very essential that we maintain and adhere to our own identity of culture and morality without any time forgetting them, so that our future generations also continue their lives in the same path.
